We were very excited to try Indonesian food while visiting Amsterdam. We were recommended this by a friend and it did not disappoint! We each got a Rames Complete, which comes with a base, 2 vegetables, 2 meats, an egg, and a skewer, all for only €14.50! All of the food was as great, and the man at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to making our choices. The coconut and turmeric rice was my favourite base, but you can’t go wrong. We also enjoyed the green beans and the sweet and spicy pulled chicken.

The taste was just like home, and it didn't cost much either, only €11.5 for a serving of complete nasi rames (yellow rice, tempeh, balado beef, spicy eggplant + complimentary balado egg).

Not the best Indonesian take out spot in town, but not horrible either. Flavours, freshness of the ingredients, services, all meh. The best part about it is that it’s larger than most of its equivalents and there are actually 3-4 tables for you to dine in.

Enak banget ! This little shop may be small but serves up some great flavours! I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of Indonesian dishes - especially the tempe, udang (shrimp) and beef rendang! Would recommend!

A classic indonesian place. The food quality is very good in my opinion, compared to the average indonesian place. This is not a place for a fancy dinner but more for a quick bite. As long as u remember that, you will love it! Price to quantity ratio is also extremely good, especially since this is in Amsterdam. Paid 13.50 for the meal you are looking at on the pic. Couldn't finish it, and I'm a big eater. Asked for a doggy bag and took some more home to eat it later:)

For under €15, you can get an authentic Indonesia meal with 2 meats and 2 veg with sambal egg, satay and crackers. Sometimes the meat can be slightly over cooked, but it’s still a delicious deal! Recommended!

Amazing place. The food is wonderful and the owner is super cool. He took time to explain everything to us and was very friendly!!! Bonus he likes Kiss and Iron Maiden!! If you are looking for Indonesian while in Amsterdam go here!! We had several locals who were in the restaurant tell us it’s the best in Amsterdam. We certainly believe it!!
